The Olympics exemplifies many of the highest ideals of humanity. Millions around the world have caught the “Olympic spirit” watching world records to be broken, the human interests stories, and cheering one their own nations.
For the next week or more, we will discover the ways we as Christians can pray specifically for the nations of the world through the Olympics. Today will be a day of general prayer, Wednesday will focus on the location for the Games in

On a practical note, watching the Olympics can be a great time to pray for countries that have perhaps slipped your memory. As they stand on the medal platform and their anthem is played, remember their country before our Lord.
